For my birthday this year, I can say it's one of the happiest. It's nothing big or fancy, just cosy, and lovely.
I have never really had a pull factor to want to celebrate my birthday, but idk why this year, I did actually write out a list of people, in different groups, whom I want to meet for my birthday celebration. I guess it's because I've actually moved on to a different phase in life. I can safely say I'm not a kid anymore. That doesn't mean I have nothing more to learn. Of course there are still a lot of "trials and tribulations" of which I haven't gone through before. But that’s besides the point. Because I’ve moved on, I realized that I do leave people behind. I hope I haven’t realized it too late. I’ve been trying my best to try to meet up with friends to reconnect again. Yes, only been contacting ones which actually mean quite a bit to me. I don’t need that many friends.
So basically, a huge part of my life nowadays is just 1. Family 2. Work 3. A . Although the numbers are in ascending order, I kinda actually prioritize it the other way round :/ Or rather it just comes naturally. It’s not a bad thing, but I think I should spend more time with my family, of which I am! Going to Taiwan on Thursday for approx. 10 days with my family :) Won’t see A for like 10 days, but yea, I can get used to it :)
Had a “surprise” BBQ on Saturday. I totally ruined the surprise and I feel bad about it. I was very happy still, because A baked me a Red Velvet Cake! I think it’s awfully sweet. Plus I didn’t know he knows that I like red velvet cake!
Spent my Sunday with Flo, Mum, Evan, and my grandma. Planned our Auzzie trip, like halfway? And then we went to play table tennis and have dinner after. It was a Sunday well spent :)
Dinner with A @ some random jap food place. Met E & Kw cause they wanted to celebrate for me :) I was happy :)
